Lucid Crossroads help page

HELP!

The site is over three years old now and when I think of all the time I've spent on creating this place I feel a little queasy. I first made the site cause no-one else would do it or had done it. It also a bridge between what I do to eat, an illustrator (image maker) and artist, both elements are in play in this site and they shift around all the time which to me is an interesting thing.

I scrape a hand to mouth living by doing commercial illustration, books, magazines, adverts that sort of thing. The way I look on this has changed over the years, it has now moved beyond just a way of supporting myself whilst I work on my art. The Lucid Crossroads website is the instructions for creating the real work in a dream. It also connects to a wider different world of the internet with its alternative values.

If you like this site and can help I've included a few ways to either financially or other favors below.

I tried for ages to take the most posey photo I could as its very traditional for webpage bio's, however I just can't bring myself to write some bad poetry! : )

I'm just not a money person which is why maybe I never have any and why I have a few dicey moments paying the rent each month. I seriously only earn enough to get by, although I am trying to construct new portfolio of work and stabilize my finances. I guess it doesn't help that I spend large chunks of my time working on my unpaid fine art projects like the Crossroads but if I couldn't I'd go nuts without my fine art so I have to lump it I think.

The Onetribe program on London's Resonance FM has interviewed me about lucid dreaming and the Lucid Crossroads. I've also placed Google and Amazon ad's on the website, hopefully all my efforts will allow me to improve the site in the future.

Other Help - Don't worry I know how frustrating it can be when you don't have spare funds and want to help out but there are other ways you can help me.

1. Easy just try and get to the Lucid Crossroads, then let me know by email and I'll put your account on the site with all the others. The more dreamers who reach us the more encouragement it will provide for others.

2. Let others know about the site, this can be direct to friends or maybe via an internet forum you might be a member of. Many forums no matter what they discuss have a general discussions section and you can start a thread out lucid dreaming. The Crossroads has a few good pages about how to get lucid, WILDs etc so link to them.

3. Link to the Crossroads via your own website. Links not only provide a direct route for people but put this site higher up the google rankings. If you want a Crossroads banner link button or want to add an image to make the link stand out just email me.

4. Are you a 3-D artist or student who has a top notch 3-D package and is good enough to help with the next part of the build? You would have to build and texture 3-D elements that will be used in the final build of the Crossroads site. I'll handle the exterior landscape and structures but help would be gratefully received for other specific elements and interiors. I can accept a wide number of formats but you should ideally use one of the top packages (not Bryce/Poser etc) contact me by email to help, the build won't start for a while (maybe next year) but we can talk about what's needed.

HELP NEEDED WITH TRANSLATIONS

In the future I'm going to create an international Crossroads site with less text so that the pages can be translated easily by helpers. However till the new site is completed I'm asking for this simple guide to be translated into as many langugaes as possible.

All languages would be appreciated and whilst those that reach a large number of people would be very important to have we require all languages no matter how few people speak it (yes even Welsh!).
